Young Dermatologists (NuDe)
The Young Dermatologists Association (NuDe) was founded in 2006 by doctors specializing in dermatology. The main goal of the association is networking of young specialists. The chairperson for 2006-2011 was Sampsa Kauppi, 2011-2015 Noora Neittaanmäki, 2015-2018 Ville Kiiski, 2018-2021 Mari Salmivuori and from 2021 Martta Jokinen. It is possible to become a member of NuDe at the beginning of specialization. NuDe’s membership includes more than 90 people, mostly residents but also specialists. NuDe has its own Facebook group, which can be accessed by invitation.
NuDe meets twice a year with various training events and evening entertainment. The training has been of high quality, about topics such as skin cancer, skin laser treatments, atopy, dermatoscopy, psoriasis, hand dermatitis, dermatological photography, acne, vasculitis. Practical training has also been involved. The most enthusiastic members of NuDe will continue to participate the even after the specialization. The occasions are relaxed and an excellent way to get to know colleagues around Finland.

Finnish Dermatopathological Society
The Finnish Dermatopathological Society is an association of dermatologists and pathologists whose aim is to promote the knowledge, skills and research of skin pathology in Finland. To accomplish its purpose, the association organizes meetings and lectures, participates in international activities and carries out information and publishing activities.
The annual meeting of the association is usually held at the beginning of the year and most of the time a dermatopathological event seminar is held. The cases being handled in the seminar will be scanned on the internet and a password will be sent to those who are willing to see the samples in advance.
Membership is accepted on application. A non-formal application should be sent to the Chairman of the Association.
